Where can I find information on lecturers? (Biography, course units, office hours, etc.)
On the profile of each lecturer.

When you click on the lecturer’s name, their profile will open displaying all the information you need.
IMPORTANT: lecturer profiles are the only resource you should consult to get information on the lecturer’s office hours and any changes and/or cancellations. Please be reminded that the new Department website will not publish any notifications on office hours.
Where can I find teaching materials for each course unit?
Teaching materials, which were loaded onto the profile of each lecturer on the old Department website, will now only be available on the e-learning and online teaching platform, under the Sociology Courses section.

You can also access teaching materials of interest to you from the home page of the new Department website (https://www.sociologia.unimib.it/it). Simply click on the link in the grey box at the bottom right (“Course Units”).
In the “Teaching” section of the new Department website, you can also find pages dedicated to each Course of Study. Every Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Course has a special menu containing a “Course Units” button. When you click on this button, you will open a page with a link to the course units of each Course of Study on the online teaching platform (e.g. https://www.sociologia.unimib.it/it/didattica/corsi-laurea/sociologia/insegnamenti).
IMPORTANT: from now on, each course unit will have its own “syllabus” (which will be loaded onto the online teaching platform only), in which you’ll be able to find details on educational objectives, content, teaching methods and learning verification methods, as well as key texts from the course unit. In order to view and/or download other resources (such as slides, lecture notes, specific instructions from the lecturer), you will need to visit the “Course Unit” section after you have logged into the platform. You may need to log into the specific “Course Unit” too, if requested.
Where can I find exam and workshop results?
Results will be uploaded by lecturers onto the e-learning platform and the online teaching area of each specific Course Unit and/or workshop.
You will be able to view results by visiting the Course Unit page once you have logged into the platform page. You may need to log into the specific “Course Unit” too, if requested.
Where can I find information on changes to lecture times and/or rooms?
In the event of changes to the time and/or room of lectures, the Teaching Admins of each Course of Study will update the information on the public lecture times platform. You can access the lecture times platform at the following link:
You can also access lecture times platform from the home page of the new Department website. Simply click on the link in the grey box at the bottom right (“Lecture times and rooms”).
A notification will also be published on the new Department website. Notifications can be viewed on the Department home page (https://www.sociologia.unimib.it/it – “News” section on the left of the page) or by clicking on “Real-time notifications” on the main menu, then selecting your Course of Study.
Where can I find information on Teaching Admins and/or offices of interest to me?
You can access the details of the Teaching Admins of each Course of Study and the Online Admin portal from the home page of the new Department website (https://www.sociologia.unimib.it/it). Use the links in the grey box at the bottom right:
